Built for your first job search

Most applications go through an Applicant Tracking System before a recruiter ever reads them. SkillSyncer scans your resume against the job posting you are applying to and shows you which keywords you already have and which ones you are missing.

You have more relevant experience than you think. Coursework, class projects, internships, part-time jobs and campus organizations all count. You just need to describe them using the words the employer is looking for.

How to claim it

With a .edu email address: create your account using your .edu address (academic addresses like .ac.uk work too). We will send you a confirmation email, and once you click the link your account is upgraded automatically.

Without a .edu email address: email support@skillsyncer.com with proof that you are enrolled at a college, university or other institution of higher learning, and we will upgrade your account.

Already have an account? Email us from the address on your account with proof of enrollment. You keep all of your scans and resumes.

Veterans, service members and military spouses also get a free year through our military program.

Questions about the student program

Who qualifies for the student program?

Any student enrolled at a college, university or other institution of higher learning. Sign up with your .edu email address (or an academic address like .ac.uk) and your account is upgraded automatically. No .edu address? Email support@skillsyncer.com with proof of enrollment.

Why do I have to confirm my email first?

Clicking the link in the confirmation email shows us the .edu address is yours. Once you do, your account is upgraded and you can log in. If you sign up with Google using your school account, you skip this step.

What counts as proof of enrollment?

Anything current from your school with your name on it, like an enrollment verification letter, this term's class schedule, or a student ID that has not expired. Send it from the email address you want upgraded.

Can I add the student year to an account I already have?

Yes. Email support@skillsyncer.com from the email on your account with proof of enrollment and we will upgrade it. You keep all of your scans and resumes.

What does the student year include?

Everything in Premium: unlimited job scans, unlimited resumes, live scoring as you edit, Word export, and all of the AI tools.

Do students need a credit card?

No. You never enter a card, so you are never charged when the year ends.

I work in a career center. Can we share this?
